Get Your Glow On!!

It’s all about the glow these days, whether it’s fresh faced look or full makeup look.  There are liquid or powder based products promising dewy & glowing skin, but this product junkie has actually been adding luminizing products for many years before it was a trend. Specifically I have been using the Buxom Divine Goddess Luminizer.

Many years ago I read about this in an article and bought it at Sephora (but now I get it at Ulta). It costs $28 and comes in a tube that I swear lasts for ever. When I first started using it and till today I mix a few drops in my foundation and then apply.  When mixed with foundation it gives an all over subtle glow, but If you are going for more than subtle you can add more.

Other ways I use it:

Highlighter: I dab some on my cheekbones, temples, bridge of the nose and décolleté and blend it out with my beauty blender.  I set it with a little power highlighter for a little extra glow.

Fresh Faced glow: I sometimes (not always) mix a few drops in my moisturizer and apply to give my skin a little extra glow when going without makeup or with minimal makeup.

Buxom Luminizer is my favorite product but I have heard good things about Cover FX Custom Enhancing Drops ($42, available at Sephora), Iconic London Illuminator ($46, https://www.iconiclondoninc.com) and L’Oréal Lumi Drops ($11.99 at Target). I just bought the L’Oréal Lumi Drops and will review it soon.  I love that it’s affordable.

So if you want to amp up your makeup routine or just add a subtle glow give Luminizers a try.
