Curls and more curls and when you add in the humidity whoa baby.   If you have curly hair you understand that.  Over the years I have found some products that work great and some not so much cue @philipb mega curl enhancer.  

It’s a leave in conditioner tames fizz, hydrates, and smells absolutely amazing (sweet woody scent).  The amount you use will depend on the length of your hair.  I use a nickel size amount and work it thru my damp hair and let my hair air dry.
