Winter Skincare Routine

With the change in temperature there should be a change in skincare routines.   As I have mentioned before I have combination acne prone skin but also have eczema which gets aggravated in winter months.  My current skincare routine is as follows. 

Cleanser (AM & PM)): I have been loving the Purity 3 in 1 cleanser and IT Cosmetics Confidence in a cleanser.  Both are gentle & leave my skin hydrated.  If I have makeup on then I double cleanse starting with IT makeup removing balm followed by cleanser.  

Toner (AM &PM)): after cleansing I first use Real Flower Cleansing Water by Neogen Dermalogy (apply on face & neck using a saturated cotton round) & then spray on Dermalogica Multiactive Toner. (Sometimes I just use the Dermalogica toner)

Serum: I start by using Soko Glam Triple C Lightining serum (day & night) & Murad Multivitamin Oil (another product that helps my eczema) followed by Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum (AM).  PM I use a combination of  Elizabeth Arden Skin Illuminating Brightening Capsules & The Ordinary Rosehip oil.

Moisturizer: AM I use First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Intense Hydration Cream (I use it on my hands & feet aswell helps when my eczema). If my skin is feeling very dry I use it at night or I use the Sunday Riley Luna sleeping night oil. 

Eye cream: Sunday Riley Autocorrect (AM) & Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Cream

Don’t forget lip balm(Carmex lip balm with SPF)  & sunscreen they are important even in winter. I am loving my drugstore find in Aveeno Protect  + Hydrate Lotion sunscreen. (I mix it into my moisturizer). 

I know it may seem like a lot but it takes me 5 minutes max AM and PM.  I test out a lot of products and these are products that are working for my right now. It might change if I find another fav but what’s important is taking care of your skin.
