First Impressions Series

Starting a new series ...Monthly First Impressions 😊.  Each month as I get opportunities to try new brands and products I will be bringing you first impressions.  For some products I will definitely provide updates.  

Up first Ranavat Botanics: is an all natural Ayurvedic skincare line ( to learn more about Ayurveda click on this link https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayurveda) 

I love Ayurvedic products so had to give this one a go. Usually I use a homemade face mask made of Multani Mitti (Fuller’s Earth), turmeric, sandalwood powder and Rose water). Most of the ingredients in the Flawless Veil Illuminating Masque are similar to my homemade mask but in addition, it also has  Arrowroot, Saffron, Manuka Honey and more. 

The powder can be mixed with water or their Jasmine or Lavender Tonique ( they both smell divine).  Tonique can be used as just a Toner as well.  Apply paste to face, wait 10-15 minutes and rinse with warm water.  

Pros: after one use it left my skin bright smooth and glowing.  

Cons: it is $65 for 2.82 Oz jar and Tonique is $40.  It can be ordered thru their website https://www.ranavatbotanics.com, Nordstroms or Neiman Marcus.  I wish they had a trial size incase it didn’t work for me but I am glad it did.
